There is something special about someone who brings understanding and clarity into a topic that cannot be brought anywhere else. My experiences with teachers who had the ability to do more than teach changed my life. Because of them I have the desire to help others through my experiences, knowledge, and by the way I care for them.

I have had many experiences that have allowed me to teach different ages and different subjects. My experience began with teaching young children the piano. I learned how to incorporate various ways to teach as not all children learn the same. Next, I held classes for seventeen year old girls who were competing in a scholarship program. This taught me that showing that you care is the first step in successful teaching. Finally, I had the opportunity to teach a class of ages twelve to eighteen at a local church group. It was this class that taught me how to communicate effectively with students and how to glean what they needed from their words. I have had positive experiences with each of my students and am confident there are many more to come.
