My first experience with teaching/tutoring came the summer after I graduated college. I was planning to lead a middle school student exchange group on a trip to Japan, before which I conducted a class for the students involved on the language and culture of the country. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and I've gained a love for teaching ever since! To me, sharing my knowledge with others is always worthwhile, no matter what the subject.

Even outside of academics I always love learning! Some of my current ventures include learning how to play the ukulele, research on topics such as popular 60s era music, and figuring out how to take care of my new pet betta fish! I believe everything in life can be turned into a learning experience, and I hope I'm able to make that a reality in other's lives as well!
