I have a BA in Sociology from Pomona College and held both volunteer and paid positions as a tutor during my time in college. I did everything from private SAT prep to large group settings working on 5th grade spelling and Calculus simultaneously. I worked in classrooms doing writing workshops and even taught English as a part of my internship while studying abroad in Senegal. Working at a tutoring center, I focused on upper level math and advanced placement courses. When I am not tutoring, I am studying to be an EMT. I also love backpacking and adventuring.
