What has particularly motivated me to work as a tutor is the ability to give back the gift of knowledge. I remember the great teachers that made learning fun, I would just like to give back and provide another individual to have that "ah-ha" moment also.
I have supervised a before and after school program for and elementary in the SE Heights of Albuquerque and I had worked with K-5th grade. I have experience in ABA therapy and individuals with ASD. I have a great amount of patience and understanding.
I have earned a dual degree from the University of New Mexico with BA in Psychology and also a BFA in Studio Arts. Currently I am finishing my masters degree in Counseling/Art Therapy from Southwestern College of Santa Fe.
