Certified Tutor

I am a certified math teacher with experience teaching a wide range of high school math courses, including Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students from second grade through twelfth grade as a math tutor, and I've truly enjoyed helping them discover the beauty and power of mathematics. Teaching is not just a profession for me, it's a passion. Since transitioning to stay home to raise my child, I have missed the fulfillment that comes from inspiring and guiding students. I am eager to be to the tutoring setting, not just because I am skilled, but because I love teaching and making a positive impact on my students' lives. I believe that the goal for our students should not be to know how to regurgitate mathematical equations, but to understand why these equations make sense and the applications connected to them. Then, you will have true learning.
