I am an elementary school teacher with two master's degrees (one in History from CW Post on Long Island and the other in Education from Manhattanville College in Purchase N.Y.) I teach science and social studies, as well as taught ELA at the fourth and fifth grade level. I like to work with kids in small groups (or individually) with work. I like to question children to find answers to questions and find ways to relate content to them. I am relaxed with the students, and try to build relationships with them, so that they are comfortable asking questions. I expect a lot from my students. My students know that I care about them, and their success.
