I am a graduate of North Carolina State University. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Zoology. During my time at NC State I worked as a TA for several classes. Since graduation, I have worked everywhere from dog shelters to orthotics sales. What matters to me is that I'm able to help people with what I do. I've been tutoring since 2018. While English is my specialty, I also enjoy helping students with mid-level math and sciences of all types. I believe in reaching understanding through discussion and question-and-answer. As a tutor I believe that the student should both guide the learning and be an active participant all the way. I am a life-long learner and love to read and explore the outdoors.
