I hold an A.A in General Science and attend California State University-Dominguez Hills, currently obtaining my B.S. in Biochemistry. I have a passion for teaching and rightfully so am an aspiring High School Chemistry teacher. My goal is to earn at least a Masters in teaching and become an inspiring teacher to young women and first generation college students just like myself to pursue careers in the STEM field.

I have experience tutoring high school/introductory college chemistry for over 4 years. I have experience working with a variety of age groups and learning capabilities. I am friendly, approachable, and relatable. Trust me I understand the struggles that come with chemistry and have knowledge of successful learning strategies and study techniques that could help you alter your studying.

I strive to impart individualized tutor sessions to all my clients. I believe in empowering students with effective study skills while providing a friendly learning environment. A space where students can openly ask questions and constructively approach difficult problems. I heavily believe in understanding how to approach problems and setting in place methods for "trouble spots" that may occur. I believe tutors have a similar role to coaches. People who are here to help train you to be an independent learner so you can apply the knowledge learned to different problems. I find great satisfaction in assisting students excel in their own academic endeavors.

Aside from tutoring and assisting students. I enjoy going on short hikes, walking my dog, and I love Korean BBQ and sushi. I have an interest in special effects make up which is attributed to my fascination with the TV show Face-Off.
