Certified Tutor
My name is Nina, and I am an incoming senior at the University of Maryland, College Park. I'm a mechanical engineering major and international development & conflict resolution minor. I'm the Uganda project leader for our Engineers Without Borders chapter (so lead my largely freshmen team in engineering project management and design), aeroshell lead on our Hyperloop team, and am working on an AI medical assistance robot for a research project. I am really passionate about math and engineering, and studied hard in school to get to where I am!
In college, I helped my Calculus professor with his Pre-Calculus tutoring sessions. In high school I worked with younger students often. I was a year long Algebra 1 tutor for a freshman, SAT summer math tutor, and National Honor Society tutoring coordinator.
I honestly love to tutor and get to know other students, and would love to help with their education and confidence in their own knowledge so they can achieve their goals.
I'm pretty down to earth, and will work hard to ensure that I'm prepared to help out any student as best I can. I help out my younger sister with her homework. I'm easily approachable and good at helping others feel confident in their own abilities.
