Certified Tutor

I am a senior UNC Asheville working towards completing a B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Physics. I have four years of non-professional experience tutoring elementary to middle school math (from the fourth grade up to the seventh grade level). What I like about tutoring is that it gives me the opportunity to fill gaps in a student's understanding of a topic. My goal is to help students achieve mastery over a subject by teaching core ideas and strengthening problem solving skills. My favorite subject to tutor is mathematics and some of my hobbies include reading, watching films, and collecting miscellaneous factoids.
