I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2018. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and working as a Corporate Recruiter. I am passionate about learning, diversity, and especially organization! I am an Adult Literacy, Business, English, Microsoft Office, Psychology, Study Skills and Organization, and Writing tutor. My experience has prepared me to be your tutor in numerous ways, as I have experience working with a large variety of students. As a Research Assistant in both UNLV's Baby and Child Rebel Lab and Social Interaction Lab, I worked with children from ages 3 months to adults 20+ years old. I have volunteer experience at the Boys and Girls Club as a tutor in addition to professional childcare experience at Kid's Quest as a teammate. Therefore, I am familiar with the varying developmental needs of children as they age. My favorite subjects to tutor are study skills and organization, writing, and adult literacy. Transitioning from high school to college was a challenge for me, as in high school I was able to excel without putting in much effort. However, college quickly forced me to improve as a student. I can help you do the same. I am especially confident in my writing abilities; I will provide students with tools they can use to excel in any future writing assignment. I love tutoring adult literacy because there are so many road blocks to success in our society. Teaching adult literacy fulfills me, it allows me to do my part in leveling the playing field by providing a judgement-free zone to those who need help about the things they were never taught. My teaching style values empowerment and kindness above all else. I intend to boost the academic confidence of everyone I work with and teach them skills that will benefit them in the near and distant future. I am eager to be your tutor!
