I was an Economics major in college and later earned a Master's and a Ph.D. in Economics, both from the University of Michigan. After grad school, I was a college professor for twelve years and later moved to teaching at selective private secondary schools. I have taught Economics for twenty-three years and won seven awards for outstanding teaching, from four different institutions--I love teaching Economics!
Over the years, my students have most often mentioned among my strengths as a teacher the fact that I'm clear and organized; that I'm dedicated and really care about my students; that I'm enthusiastic and motivate them to do their best work; and that I take teaching seriously but have a sense of humor and don't take myself too seriously.
If you think that Economics is dry, boring, or hard, you need to take a fresh look at it. I can help with that.
