It is my goal to teach people who cannot read and write, how to do it, and how to do it well. Reading gives us the freedom to succeed in life and it gives me the greatest joy to see the light of recognition turn on in students who begin to understand and start reading.

It is my belief that if a person learns to read and write, then, for that person, the path to success is a foregone conclusion. And it is a success that is indeterminable; it can go as far as he or she can imagine.

If a person cannot read, then he or she cannot write. If he cannot read, his path to success can be determined and it can be imagined. He or she will not go very far in life, for reading is the basic tool for success and reading goes hand in hand with writing.

I want every student to reach as far as he or she is potentially able to reach to attain success and that begins with reading and writing.
