Angela has a 120 hour Certification in TEFL with Teaching English to Young Learners and is a Certified Compton PESL Accent Modification Coach. She has taught children music in the NY/NJ area for over 15 years, including the Extension Division at Rutgers University and was the Director of Musical Theatre Arts at the Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts. During her graduate studies in voice, Angela trained in methods that, when implemented, can assist in speech coaching for kids, ESL speakers and professional public speakers. She has also completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training through YogaWorks and is a registered yoga teacher. Her studies in many foreign languages, diction and phonetics make tutoring ESL, phonics, elementary writing and reading through Varsity Tutors a natural extension of her extensive training. Angela makes classes engaging and energetic. Fun is a top priority!
