I'm a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, served in Ghana West Africa, teaching Art Education, English, health, and agriculture topics at Deaf Primary and JHS school after graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art History from the University of Arizona. I also studied creative writing as a minor.
I designed and developed curriculums specific to each subject, utilized my experience as a past student to fit the unique learning styles of students and how they can easily grasp the material. I tutor many subjects, most especially essay writing and editing grammar and mechanics, reading comprehension and critical think, study skills, art history, studio art, and world history. With the bulk of my subjects, I continually thrive to learn new subjects and materials so I may pass on my knowledge to coming generations.
When I'm not tutoring or working with a nonprofit, I can be found hiking, biking, reading, or just hanging out with my nieces.
