I have worked as a teacher's assistant/substitute teacher in a middle school helping 5th-8th graders for almost three years. While I have taught all subjects , I specialize in English and Math. I have worked with a variety of students, from English Language Learners to those with learning disabilities. I have learned throughout the years that every individual student learns in their own unique way. Though the material may be the same, it is of utmost importance that you as the one teaching be able to adapt the material for every student to learn and understand. I learn just as much from my students if not more than they learn from me. Every student I work with helps me learn and grow as an instructor to help more students in the future. If there is a student willing to learn, I to the best of my abilities will help them on their academic journey towards success.
