Helping students learn has been my passion since I began my career as a teacher and tutor. I enjoy teaching all subjects and ages, however elementary students are where my heart is. I enjoy teaching a student how to figure something out for themselves by guiding them. I have tutored math, reading, and English primarily in my past experiences. I also have experience tutoring students in the AIMS and STAAR tests. I had amazing experiences with teachers who helped me learn, I hope to give a student the same experience in learning.
I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Learning and Pedagogy. I have taken many classes in elementary education as well as practicums in 4th, 3rd, and 5th grade classrooms. I was a high school tutor in AZ for 2.5 years. I also was a head start teacher for a year. I have always had a heart for education and hope to bring a great experience to your child's learning.
