Certified Tutor

I recently graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I have always loved math. Over the years I have tutored classmates and members of my boy scout troop, helping them with difficult problems and explaining tough concepts. I find the best way to learn new concepts is by working through their applications. When I tutor, I guide students in their learning by asking leading questions or giving helpful hints, while leaving them the space and time to make their own insights. I love seeing the light bulb moment when everything slides into place. In my spare time, I enjoy keeping a sketchbook, staying informed about other STEM topics, playing board games, and of course rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
