I graduated from MIT in 2011 with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. My degree (and desire to play ultimate frisbee) led me to Seattle, WA where I worked for Boeing for three and a half years as a structural design engineer improving production on the 787 Dreamliner and updating the fuselage design of the 777. My regular work at a local summer camp has revealed a passion for working with youth and after moving back to Kansas to be closer to family I started working with middle and high school students in an academic setting as well. I have always loved math and engineering and am available to tutor almost any STEM subject.
In my free time I play lots of ultimate frisbee with club teams in Wichita and Kansas City, I look for any excuse to ride a motorcycle or play board/card games, and I enjoy camping and hiking with family and friends whenever I can make it to the mountains.
