I have a bachelor's degree and am certified to teach grades K-9. I also have a master's degree in education and a K-12 library media endorsement. I have taught for fifteen years. For twelve years I taught middle school English and loved every second of it. Currently I teach 5th and 6th grade ELA and math, and I am also enjoying that. I can tutor math, ela, computers, test prep., or pretty much any elementary or middle school subject and can also definitely help with high school language arts, college writing, and am willing to try to help with about anything! My teaching philosophy is to build a relationship with students so they feel safe to take risks and want to work with you to be the best they can be.
