My decision to seek out a four-year institution for its plethora of almost esoteric opportunities has yielded me a greater appreciation for how ambitious and capable people truly are, which is best captioned while a set of challenges are being confronted. This kind of self-determination is an aspect not limited to a college education and his purely individualistic. It's been my experiences tutoring college writers in an array of different subjects that augmented this belief that everyone has something to gain by honing their writing, but sometimes we need someone trustworthy to point out where we have been lapsing. There shouldn't be any question that this skill has to be cultivated to see significant growth, but where does anyone get if they spend more time sufficing than striving?
I've been a college writing tutor for over a year and consider every person's writing capability an invaluable trait worth honing. I think tutoring's a practice so largely undervalued that some people have difficulty defining what role a tutor's meant to play. They're not a talking calculator or implanted with your specific answer sheet, but rather put their focus towards seeing you progress. If time and energy aren't ingredients given their needed respect, however, the process undercuts itself rather abruptly.
