Biology, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, scientific research, drug therapy, research and development, teaching...... These words run through my life experience. After graduating from Peking University, the most prestigious university in China in 2000, I worked as a post-doctor at BAYLOR COLLEGE OF MEDICINE and at UCLA on new drug development. During this period, I published many research papers. In 2004, my supervisor at UCLA invited me to join his biopharmaceutical company called ARMAGEN TECHNOLIGIES. We have developed the world's first biological drug which can transport through the human blood-brain barrier. The new drug has entered the clinical trial. I was the most critical scientist. I could not remember how many days and nights, I worked hard in the laboratory. After numerous failures, we achieved the milestone success. This process has great impact on me, so I became a first-class biotechnology researcher. I also accumulated management experience in two NIH-funded research projects.
I really like teaching. I was hired as an associate professor of Tianjin University School of Pharmacy, engaged in teaching and research work. The students are very fond of listening to my class lectures and academic reports. In 2009, because of family affairs, I had to quit my teaching work and returned to Los Angeles. I became a registered pharmacist. Years of medical professional experience let me accumulate a lot of experience in biology, medicine, and health. I am very keen to be engaged in teaching work, imparting knowledge to students, so that they understand the fun of biological related fields and their beautiful prospects, and become a talent in health and biology field in future.
