I truly believe that the most important thing someone can do for another is to teach them something. It's this basic tenet that I've held with me through over my 10 years in the field of education. Whether it be in the classroom during the school year, outside during a summer camp, or on the playground in an after school program, I've always coupled an ability to teach concepts effectively with a sense of joy and genuine fun. Teaching doesn't have to be dry and boring, and enthusiasm to learn is contagious if channeled in the right way. As an educator, I strive to make connections with students in order to set goals and achieve them.
