I am a current undergraduate at George Mason University. I'm majoring in Biology and minoring in Global Affairs. I'm an ambitious pre-med student and academics have always been of natural importance to me. It's my goal to always stay motivated in studying and remain a hard-working student. Some topics I am very interested in helping students, and learning myself, is biology and math. Math is truly a fun subject and I love working through complicated problems. Biology is incredibly interesting to me although at times it can be a lot to remember!
I want to tutor in order for me to help others fulfill their academic dreams, as I have mine of going to medical school. I hope to share my knowledge to other's understanding to the best of my ability.
I've tutored since high school through different organizations and during my free-time around my community. My teaching philosophy is to spread knowledge so that we can reap its rewards. Also, I believe learning from a friend helps understand material better than a professor or stranger. I hope to be my student's teacher and coach, so that they learn in a determined, progressive, active, and engaging way while remembering that we are friends!
When I have time off of studying, I love getting involved in research at my school or having fun with friends and enjoying my college experience. In my own time, I love to draw and paint. Although I am a very STEM-my person, I have a creative side as well.
