I was teaching Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry for three years. I have also taught middle school in New York. In addition I have been and currently am tutoring online Math grades 7-12. Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, Financial Math etc.

In my experience students who struggle in math need a patient and understanding tutor who will not judge them and go over any previous material and any knowledge gaps that need to be filled. Understanding math takes spending quality time (Independently as well as with a tutor) going through and actually practicing as many problems as needed for a complete mastery of the topic.

One thing that sets me apart from other tutors is instead of rushing a student to memorize the steps to get to the final answer I will take time to examine the problem and provide all the relevant information for a student to obtain in depth understanding of the topic/issue at hand. Math is not always memorizing the answers and steps but building necessary relevant connections/skills that stay long term and make you a better problem solver.

Needless to say I will provide you with as many additional examples, walk you through problems step by step, illustrate any topic of your choosing and do whatever it takes to make you understand.
