I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

I am an International student from Sweden. I was born in Nigeria and lived there till I was 15 before I moved to Sweden. I decided to come to school in the states because I wanted more exposure and experience the world. I speak three languages fluently. I am a transfer student currently studying in Santa Barbara City College. I am a chemistry major, but I also have an interest in Mathematics. Overall, I've been a decent student academically wise. I am aware of my strength and weakness in each subject I take. I once recieved the President Honor roll and hope to achieve that honor again.

One of the challenges I faced when I was younger was having to move from Nigeria to Sweden. I had to leave my mother that I've known all my life to be with a father I've never met. It was a tough change in my reality, culturally and weather-wise. Luckily I was able to pull through the change and thrive.

My goal in life is to make a positive difference everywhere I go and I feel like I've been able to do that occassionally. I'ld like to believe I've been a positive impact in someone's life. My dream is to make a scientific discovery or do a well enough job that someone else can use as reference even when I'm gone.

I was a member of Amnesty International when I was in high school and our main goal was to bring to people's attention all the injustice happening in the world around us and come up with ways with which we could help. In college, I created a club called the 'Ethics for the 21st century' where we discussed different ethically issues we encounter in our daily lives and how it relates to the new millenail. We'll hold debates and discussion concerning different topics; and example was discussing if people should try to be less dependent on modern medicine and implement alternate medicine. I'm also a member of the BSU, the Math Club, Physics club and I work as a math tutor.
