As the first person in my family to go to college, I fully understand and respect the value of an education. My career has been built on this fundamental love of education and a strong desire to have a transformative impact on the lives and success of students. I believe all students can learn in an environment that provides an optimal balance of challenge and support.

My concern for students and their education as well as my reputation as an excellent teacher and advisor is evident in the various capacities that I served at various institutions.
I have 15 years of senior level administrator higher education experience working in the diversity, student success, and retention field at both private and public institutions. I have also over 10 years of experience teaching Developmental Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & II, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Leadership on the high school and collegiate level at various institutions.

My leadership and teaching experience prepares me to meet the specific educational, social, and emotional needs of students. I have a proven record of accomplishment of helping students excel in understanding mathematics and increasing their own self-confidence in their cognitive ability. I strive to provide students with a stimulating, but challenging learning environment that will also them to become active participants in their learning experience.
