Having taught Accounting, Finance and Statistics at the College level for almost 30 years, I am retiring from the classroom and looking forward to working with the motivated students who can benefit from my knowledge and experience. I was an athlete in college and I particularly enjoy working with sports-minded students. I have a keen interest in public policy and political news. Travel, especially in the USA and Canada is also a high on my list of favorite things to. While my playing days are mostly over, I still follow hockey, baseball and golf. I rarely miss a home game of my former NCAA hockey team, Rensselaer. Of course family and friends are so important and I try as often as possible to visit my grown children, Anthony who lives in Canada and Juliana who is at the University of Alabama.


You will find that I am patient and easy to work with. Also, I encourage students to provide me with copies of problems and exercises well before the online sessions so that I can prepare thoroughly and not make inefficient use of the online time. I go that extra mile because I care sincerely about your success.

We hear so many stories about bad characters lurking on the internet. I encourage parents of younger students to sit in on the tutoring sessions. Also, an extra pair of ears never hurts when we are trying to grasp a difficult concept.
What I ask of students is that they put real effort into identifying their challenges and that they take charge over where the tutoring sessions lead us.
My preference, at any given point in time, is to be working with 4-6 students on a fairly regular basis.
