I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Care, Health and Society with a minor in Public Health. I am currently working on my Master's in Professional Counseling with an emphasis on Child and Adolescent Development. I have extensive knowledge of reading, writing, paper composition, and social sciences. I am committed to finding a student's learning style and teaching in a way that builds on their personal strengths. I am proficient in a variety of learning and test taking skills to help students develop productive study habits and excel in academic performance. I believe that effective tutoring builds the confidence and knowledge of children and young adults to succeed in future academic challenges.

I have a year tutoring experience in Junior High and High School English. I have also tutored elementary students on improving writing, reading skills, and grammar use. My tutoring style provides students with encouragement and support to make learning a fun and helpful experience.
