Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I studied Molecular and Cellular Biology and minored in Chemistry. Currently, I am in the process of applying to medical school and hopefully will begin in the Fall of 2018.

I have always had a passion for teaching since I was young. After having so many fantastic teachers throughout various levels of my academic experience, I decided I want to give back to my local community and teach others. Although I believe a career in medicine is my true calling, I plan to involve academia and teaching as a part of my career as a physician someday. I took nearly 90 credit hours of general and advanced biology/chemistry courses. I am comfortable with the more basic biology and chemistry concepts as well.

My goal as a tutor is to educate and help students reach their greatest academic potential. I am a focused, compassionate, and easy-going person who wants to be there for students who need help. I remember when I used to struggle with various science concepts throughout my academic career, but my tutors and teachers helped me. I am confident that I will help you succeed!
