Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Stanford University and a graduate student in organ performance at the Eastman School of Music. I have a great deal of tutoring experience, as well as experience working as a choir director with both children and adults, sometimes together. Having somewhat recently been through the wringer of the college applications process, I know how grueling it can be, and can offer a compassionate, fun, and stress-free teaching style.

I believe in building confidence by first identifying a student's strengths and knowledge. Students often know more than they think they do! Once I know where my students are coming from, I can build upon their existing knowledge and experience and help develop lasting problem-solving strategies. I am particularly interested in tutoring students in middle- to high-school math, test prep, and elementary Latin.
