I completed my undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on 20th century American history. After graduation, I moved to the United Kingdom to attend Kings College London. At Kings, I achieved a Master of Science degree in Medical Humanities, which focused on analyzing how literature, history, film, and the social sciences influence and illustrate medicine. During my time at Johns Hopkins, I tutored local Baltimore residents in the social studies portion of the GED. I am currently a second-year medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I most look forward to getting students excited about understanding the complexity of history and how it impacts current events. Furthermore, I welcome any opportunity to help a fellow student achieve success on the MCAT and work towards their medical school dream. I am a firm believer that you need to be passionate about what you teach; I find students retain information best when they enjoy the learning process and recognize genuine enthusiasm from their tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy reading new books, re-reading Harry Potter, running and boxing to stay fit, and learning crochet from my grandmother.
