Certified Tutor

I am currently a student at a 7 year BS/MD program. I have been tutoring for about 7 years. I enjoy tutoring because everyone learns differently and I like to find new ways to stimulate learning in different individuals. I have experience tutoring 2nd graders to high schoolers. In high school, I participated in a peer tutoring program that allowed me to tutor my classmates who were struggling with classes such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, chemistry and physics. Currently, I tutor algebra 1 and 2, pre-algebra, middle school math and elementary school math. I have experience working with various age groups but I throughly enjoy working with children because I work with children almost daily. Outside of tutoring, I have 6 years of experience working with children as a Sunday school teacher and have recently become a piano teacher for young beginners. I am passionate about helping young people achieve their goals whether academic or personal.
