Hello!

Music has always played a vital role in my life. I took piano lessons from Joan Wallace who took care to train me in the classics and fundamentals. I was fortunate to learn from her for over 13 years until she retired when I was 20.

I have the ability to break down large complex subjects into small, easy baby steps. Each step is a building block, which when completed, will develop a strong core foundation in music. Once this foundation is in place, and the student has learned the art of reading music anything is possible. Many studies have linked music study with increased brain performance. Music is powerful. It has the ability to bring enjoyment, but more importantly, I have found that it is an effective outlet as well.
