I love teaching students that are ready and excited to learn! I started tutoring in High School and I loved the fact that I could help other students in my grade or grades lower or above me. I had the opportunity to live in Japan for three years and I continued educating students. I taught Japanese children from age five to 18. I also taught older students that were in their twenties trying to learn English. I was so dedicated and enthusiastic about working in another country with underprivileged students who just wanted an education to better themselves. The mayor or Nago, Okinawa, Japan awarded me a Certificate of Appreciation for all the hours I put into helping students in his city. When I got back to America, I continued my education, which I am still completing at the moment, and still help and tutor other students.
