Certified Tutor

I am currently working as an R&D Scientist at Amneal Pharmaceuticals and have a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stony Brook University. As an undergraduate at Stony Brook, I was a teaching assistant for two semesters for Organic Chemistry I and II, and won a Student of the Month award for outstanding contributions as a TA. From TAing Organic Chemistry, as well as from tutoring math and french, I developed a love for teaching and a unique method for helping students understand the material. In my current position at Amneal, I am a subject matter expert for a number of instruments (XRD, TGA, DSC, Rheometer), and train and give lectures on their use to new users in the lab. Through Varsity Tutors, I hope to help students work through the challenges they face and to make difficult subject matter enjoyable.
