I am an experienced tutor and have helped numerous students over the course of 4 years excel on their ACT/SAT, their math classes, and on their AP/IB courses. I am passionate about helping each and every student have a better understanding of difficult concepts and achieve their academic goals through individualized lesson plans. I have worked with students of all age ranges and understand the importance of balancing encouragement/compassion with accountability.
I am a rising medical student at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. I graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor's degree in biology along with a minor in chemistry and general business.
Over the course of my educational career, I have had many mentors and I wish to give back to the current student body. I want to instill all the helpful lessons I've learned and help students understand important concepts in a manner that they best understand. Tailoring the lesson plan to each individual student's needs is an essential part of my teaching philosophy and it's helped my students stay engaged and achieve academic success.
