I believe that it is essential for students to be able to grasp the fundamentals of reading, writing, math, etc. in order to be successful in life and to function well in society. At the same time, I understand that this is quite often easier said than done, so I have always driven myself to find ways to help those who need some guidance toward becoming successful members of society.

I have spent a lot of my energy focusing on ways to improve the livelihoods of others, through multiple volunteer programs, getting a bachelor's in psychology, and a master's in school counseling. While pursuing my master's, I also tutored students which is something that I have decided to continue doing. I have found great joy in tutoring students because I am often able to see great progress that assures me they can and will be successful members of society.
