Michael: Fountain Valley tutor
Certified Tutor
Throughout college and law school I was a teaching assistant, specializing in American and world history, U.S. and global politics, English and rhetoric, law, and essay writing and editing. I was an intern at the White House Domestic Policy Council and at the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs. I now work as a policy analyst for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where writing, researching, and teaching are my primary responsibilities. I love forming friendships, understand how daunting it can be to take on some of this material, and am on your side. My approach to tutoring is student centered. I believe each student is different and has different needs from me, and I am willing to adapt to those needs. I also understand how to help in the develop of work ethic, how to foster natural curiosity in a subject, and how to study and take notes. I also know how to take charge of one's career. I am a massive Star Wars fan, I play guitar, watch Game of Thrones, am a coffee snob, and love my bike. I studied abroad in Rambouillet, France, and Maastricht, the Netherlands. I am also teaching myself how to cook and would love to talk about it.
