Certified Tutor

For the past seven years I've been tutoring students at a community college. In that time my youngest student was nine years old and my oldest student was in their seventies. Working as a tutor has been rewarding and also allowed me to find my passion for teaching. My favorite part of tutoring is getting to know new people. I understand what its like to struggle in any class and have over came a lot of my fears in school. It's important to learn how someone solves problems and what their interest is to find a relate-able method to begin tutoring with.

I have a bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I'm currently raising my young son and supplementing my time with tutoring. I like to cook since I spent time working as a chef. I read frequently, including literature and science fiction.
