Certified Tutor

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at Yale University. Throughout high school, I tutored my peers and middle school students in a relaxed after-school setting. As a student of architecture, I find that a proper environment is essential to focus and learning, and I like to establish this through a positive but firm approach to studying, which I keep goal-oriented. I believe that set times and places for working are essential to healthy learning. When working with students, especially in areas concerning writing and the liberal arts, I like to find their interests to show them how much they already know. I also believe that standardized test prep can be an incredibly enriching and rewarding experience for students if done with proper enthusiasm and vigor. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, acting, and singing with my a cappella group, the Yale Whiffenpoofs.
