Certified Tutor

As a current chemistry student at the University of Texas at Dallas, I know what it is like to be a learner and an educator. I have always enjoyed teaching others to understand how to solve problems and the underlying concepts behind problems. My favorite subject to tutor is chemistry because I love and feel the most confident in tutoring this subject. Last year, I often found myself helping out my peers with college chemistry and calculus. Through that, I have found a love for teaching others. My teaching philosophy can best described by this quote from Plato's Republic:

"The object of education is to teach us to love what is beautiful." -Plato, The Republic


Other than tutoring, I love singing, because I had been in choir for 7 years, taking photographs with my film camera, and playing the piano and guitar.
