I've spent the past three years working on a PhD in English Rhetoric and Literature, focusing primarily on science fiction and the rhetoric of cyborgs. I continued my coursework for a year after I was awarded my Master's degree, and then I decided to pursue other career opportunities.

During graduate school, I taught a range of English courses including multiple composition courses such as: First-Year Writing and Rhetoric; Business Communications; Writing for the Social Sciences; and one-on-one composition tutoring.

Given the above experience, I am familiar with what it takes to succeed in college writing, adept at literary analysis, and, as my student ratings attest, capable of interesting my students in English writing and literature.
