Certified Tutor

I am a middle-junior high-high school teacher of both English and French. I went to the University of Central Arkansas where I majored in both English and French. I also received a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship after university; this allowed me to live one year abroad (I chose Lyon, France), and I was required to give speeches (in French) to Rotary groups across the state. I was also required to enroll in a Masters degree program, so I chose French Medieval Literature, where I was translating Old French, Middle French, Old English to Modern French and Modern English. It was QUITE the year!

I have taught in public and private schools (Montessori and daycares) off and on for almost 16 years, in both languages and to all different age groups. The subjects I have taught/tutored in are: English, Reading, ACT Aspire Prep, ACT Prep, French language, English Grammar, Benchmark Test Prep, French Grammar, French Reading, Oral Communications, Yearbook, Francophone Culture, Creative Writing, etc.

My hobbies and interests include: crafting, crochet, my puppies, golf, and traveling among other things.

I'm known for my wit and sarcasm, as well as my reasoning skills.
