I am a current senior majoring in chemistry a Washington University in Saint Louis. After graduation, I will be taking a gap year to work while I apply to graduate chemistry programs, with the end goal of ending up in academia as a college professor.
I discovered my affinity for teaching while I was a teaching assistant for organic chemistry lab. While this was fairly recent, it has made a huge impact on my life, and changed my overall career path from industry to academia, so I can continue to teach for the rest of my life.
