I graduated in 2014 with a B.A in Economics and minor in Mathematics from Wheaton College, a Christian liberal arts school near Chicago, IL. While in college, I developed a passion for finance and economics. A few of my favorite classes included: Labor Economics, Game Theory, Business Law, and Macroeconomics. I also had the amazing opportunity to participate in a short-term study abroad to the countries of South Africa, Malawi and Ghana. Alongside a few of my professors and fellow Business and Economics classmates, I was able to study the politics and economies of these three developing nations.
After graduating from college I joined The Boeing Company as a part of a Leadership Development Program for recent college graduates. In just two years I was able to experience 6 challenging assignments across the company in roles such as: Northeast Asia Sales, Manufacturing Management, Strategy, and Cash Management. I currently work in Financial Planning & Analysis for a subsidiary of Boeing that provides global financing and leasing solutions to Boeing customers.
With the goal of heading to business school in the next few years, I have completed the GMAT and continue to grow in my knowledge of business topics such as Accounting, in which I am currently pursuing a professional certificate through the UC Berkeley Extension school.
