Dear families,

My name is Samantha. I love working with students, watching them grow academically, and helping them learn to love learning. I've been teaching for four years in the United States and six years teaching overall. I grew up in Denver, and graduated from Lake Forest College in 2010 with degrees in Spanish and Elementary Education. After graduation, I spent 2 years teaching Spanish Literacy in South America as a Peace Corps Volunteer. When I finished my term of service in the Peace Corps, I decided to move back to Colorado. After coming back to Colorado, I taught 3rd grade for two years and then taught 5th grade for a year. I am currently teaching second grade and working towards a masters in Special Education. In my free time I love to travel, read, write, and spend time outdoors.
