Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from Saint Louis University where I received Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry and a minor in Health Care Ethics. Since graduation, I have attended Washington University in Saint Louis for some post baccalaureate classes in preparation for beginning medical school. I offer many subjects that I can tutor and I am confident that I can offer tutoring for any student needing help in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Algebra 1. My most extensive background are in the sciences -- Chemistry and Biology. I am a firm believer in teaching and helping students understand rather than memorizing material. I like to be very interactive with my teaching style because it keeps the students very involved and results in long term understanding of the material. I am a proponent for tutoring because I believe each student is capable of achieving their goals with hard work and the right teaching environment. I really enjoy teaching and watching students make large strides in education. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, reading, skiing, and hiking.
