I have tutored and taught Physics since 2010. I have taught at High Schools, tutored groups of students at colleges, and tutored individuals both young and old. I have a Bachelor's in Physics and a Masters in Teaching Science. I enjoy learning and teaching science and mathematics. Physics is my passion and I'd love to help it become yours too, or at the very least help you to better understand it.

How do you adapt your tutoring to the student's needs?
I treat my students as equals. By just talking with them I can help to determine what my students' needs are, what concepts they are struggling with, etc. Also when I can see my students' work I can see what their errors are, and I adapt my lesson to meet their needs. I come prepared with lessons in case the student isn't sure what they need or if they just want an overview of a topic, but I like to keep the lesson more open to allow the lesson to be tailored to a student's specific needs.
What types of materials do you typically use during a tutoring session?
I use paper, pen, laptop, computer simulations, calculators, whiteboards, graphs, charts, and various objects that are related to the lesson if they would help in that situation (such as a bouncy ball when discussing energy conservation, or a ramp when discussing Newton's Laws).
