Certified Tutor

I am an engineer in the north Denver area. I have a degree in mechanical engineering. I use math and science all day, every day, which I love! Math and science are my strongest subjects and my favorite ones too! I can help students with any level of math up through Calculus 1. And with science, I am able to provide tutoring for physics, high school biology classes, and basic chemistry. Additionally, I am available to provide ACT preparation tutoring as I scored well on the ACT and have experience tutoring in this area.

Something that is really important to me as I tutor is making sure that I understand the student's unique approach and thought- process for each problem and then tailoring my explanations and examples to each individual's specific approach in order to facilitate more effective learning.

I am generally available anytime after 5:30 pm on Monday through Thursday. I prefer to tutor on weekdays, but if necessary, my weekends have flexibility as well.
